Should i buy a laptop or a netbook/gaming console combo?

Hi guys
i am a guy joining my post graduation and was wondering what to buy for myself?
Should i go for a laptop or a netbook+gaming consle like ps3 the deciding factor being lower price
Mostly my technological uses would be limited to net surfing,movies and songs, powerpoint presentation, reading a few pdf journals and some hardcore gaming
i already have a galaxy tablet and a 5yr old defunct hcl laptop which hardly supported any games
should i repair the laptop or go for something new?
Also also advice on which laptop/netbook/gaming console shud i buy?

If you need a gaming set up, better buy a gaming laptop or build a gaming PC. Consoles has lesser titles than PC.

Console games has good title but the price of the games is far expensive than PC games. If you want to buy a gaming laptop or pc then mention your budget and purpose.

You already have a laptop...Perhaps, Laptop gaming isn't the same as PC/Console gaming....

I say you get a netbook+console...
Get the Xbox 360... I think you can play free games on it

You can get decent gaming laptop at 45K to play most of the games in medium setting.
About console you can get PS3 but the console's games are far expensive than PC.

Arent pirated dvds available for console like dey r found for pc
sorry i hv never used a console to play bfore played on pc only

But its too difficult to get
