Geforce GTX 680 released!

Finally the Kepler is out and unlike the bulldozer, this one does live up to the hype (somewhat at least!)

Just to let you know, this IS the fastest single GPU card in the market, around 5% faster than the HD 7970 on an average. Unlike the GTX480/580 which were hot and power hungry, this card is much much more efficient. The card draws lesser power than the HD 7970! Now take that for efficiency!

Now the price, this card is priced pretty well, it retails for $499 (vs HD 7970 @ $549). So hoping that prices would come down a bit for the HD 7000 series, but don't expect a price war yet. The indian price would be around 33-34k depending upon the vendor.

The rest of the GTX 600 series should come out soon, really looking forward to the GTX 660, lets hope its a great performer at a reasonable price.

Great more the competition the better.

there is a lot of Nvidia bashing going on with people calling this a mid range card being sold at high end price, but I don't really see the point in that debate..

anyways, cant wait for the mid range cards to come out..any idea on the launch dates of the GTX 660/670??

have no idea about the release dates.
regarding the bashing it may have to do something with fanboyism
