How to apply BSNL Broadband online (All India) - 2 Simple and faster ways

Applying online is much faster and easier than we think. It does not a need credit or debit card or even an online bank account. All you need is a standard browser and device with internet connection.


1. How to apply BSNL Dataone broadband connection online through udaan site ? (works on all browsers)


a. Go to http://udaan.bsnl.co.in/

b. Click on Register for New Land Line/Broad Band/ 3G DATA CARD /WIMAX ...etc

c. A new window will pop up, fill in the form in it.

d. Under Type Of Lead* select " NEW LINE AND BROADBAND " if you do not have a BSNL land line already or " BROADBAND " if you have a working BSNL land line no. and just need broadband.


2. How to apply for BSNL Dataone broadband connection online through selfcare portal ? (Internet Explorer only)


a. For South Indian users,

Go to http://selfcare.sdc.bsnl.co.in , those without BSNL land line click on " NewConnection " or if you already have a BSNL land line, click on " User Registration(for Existing BSNL Customers) ".

b.  For North Indian users,

Go to http://selfcare.ndc.bsnl.co.in , those without BSNL land line click on " NewConnection " or if you already have a BSNL land line, click on " Click here " in " Existing BSNL Customer? Click Here to Register and Avail Online Services. ".

c. For users from Eastern part,

Go to http://selfcare.edc.bsnl.co.in , those without BSNL land line click on " NewConnection " or if you already have a BSNL land line, click on " User Registration(for Existing BSNL Customers) ".

d. For users in Western part of India,

Go to http://selfcare.wdc.bsnl.co.in , those without BSNL land line click on " NewConnection " or if you already have a BSNL land line, click on " Click here " in " Existing BSNL Customer? Click Here to Register and Avail Online Services. ".


Normally, it is much faster than manual application as it is recorded in main database and avoids approval of application. Once applied, a BSNL agent may come and collect proof documents from your house (some charge too but you can avoid that if you walk to the nearest exchange with the reference no. which you got while registration and necessary documents).
