Best Tune up and registry software for win7?

i used to have tune up utilities on my desktop which always ensured good performance of my pc...
anyone have other suggestions?
i need it to improve performance of my laptop

Ccleaner will be enough for basic purpose, but then thought of detailing about free alternatives, hence the thread.

I have used TuneUp Utilities including TuneUp 2012. These are good replacements. I still got TuneUp 2011 on my desktop through the giveaway key. I have Advanced System Care  on my netbook and it is as good as TuneUp Utilties.
