Choosing a wireless router;
Introduction:
Many users, after acquiring a laptop or smartphone/cellphone
feel the necessity for a wifi router to get mobility and to use
them. within a reasonable radius of activity. BSNL supplied models ,
not included, as it is reported that users may be asked to buy in
outside market. and supply may be discontinued.
Para two;
Choice 1:
Retain/use the existing ADSl modem
( examples Ib Baton LR6111A/ HG510/TPlinkTD8816/TD8817/)
Select stand alone wifi routers with single antenna / multiple antennae
and with/without WDS/WDM mode(In which two wifi routers can be linked
in WIFI mode without any cables to increase the wifi activity range )
(Example Netgear WGR614V9 etc )
Choice 2:
(a)Buy a 3-in one model having Adsl modem +4lanport +wifi router
( Examples Ib Baton WR6111A /TPLINKW8901G/ TrendNetHG520/Beetel 450TCI
Binatone Wifi modelDTW845W utstar WA3002_g1 etc all almost similar.

(b) mostly supplied by BSNL
SEM ITI DNA A212-I beetel 450BXI Dlink DSL2750 etc
( based on UTSTARWA3002_g4 )
Models choice purposely done as most have same menu pages with minor
changes !!!) and seems to be used by many users of MTNL/BSNL/Airtel
(c)Teracom AR800v3, AN1020-21 Syrma etc based on Siemens C2110 +wifi module
The example models with limited range and single Antenna
can be substituted with iB Baton WRX 150N or similat models.
( for Increased range: Antenna gain 5 dbi ) : or provision to use/ attach
an external antenna.
Choice 3:
A 3G wifi router which can be used with Datacard/3g usb modems
( will add details later).
