It is raining tablets in India. Yet another sub 10 K tablet has arrived from Fly Mobile. The Fly Mobile Vision Tablet will be competing directly with Beetel Magiq and Home grown Aakash / Ubislate tablets. It is by far the most cheaply priced branded tablet available in India after Aakash Tablet. Let us take a quick tour of specs for Vision Tablet.

Operating System : Android 2.2 Froyo

Display : 7 inch TFT Touch Screen display with  a resolution of 400 x 800 pixels

Camera : 1.3 Mega Pixel Front Camera

CPU : 600 MHz Rockchip 2818 Chipset Processor

Memory : 256 MB RAM, 2GB Flash HDD and supports 16GB microSD card

Connectivity : WiFi (b/g), Bluetooth, 3G, EDGE/GPRS, USB 2.0, Ethernet (RJ45)

Battery : 2400mAH battery which can give up to 6 hours backup

Dimensions : 199 x 128 x 16 mm

Using Vision Tablet, you can also make calls using a Bluetooth or hands free head set. It can play HD videos and has preinstalled MS Office, YouTube app, Google Maps, e-reader, Instant Messaging and social networking apps.

I regret calling it just another tablet. it is real value for money at this price, but as you can imagine, you cannot get features of an iPad for Rs. 7,299. You are welcome to leave your comments on Vision Tablet.
