Google May Rebrand Picasa and Blogger.

The search giant is expected to revamp its popular services Picasa and Blogger. The idea is to not confuse users with many services. Hence, the rebranding will bring the above offerings under the umbrella of Google+.
The guys at Mountain View are likely to turn Blogger into Google Blogs, and Picasa may be renamed Google Photos. It has also been claimed that several other Google brands will also be affected. However, YouTube will mostly remain untouched because there is no point in renaming it to Google Video - a service that was killed a few months ago. This kind of move is not new for the company, as it has previously turned JotSpot into Google Sites and GrandCentral into Google Voice.
Google acquired Picasa in 2004, and the service has acquired quite a lot of users worldwide. Blogger was acquired in 2003 is still one of the top 10 websites in the world in terms of visits. The transition period is said to be around six weeks.
