A connection is called broadband if the speed is above 256 Kbps or 32 KBps. Internet Service Providers (ISP) prefer Kbps as it looks like a higher speed. When we download, internet download managers show speed in KBps. 1 KBps = 8 Kbps. At time, ISPs fail to give promised speed. To check the current speed, take one of the many reliable speed tests. I have a 256 Kbps unlimited connection. Here is my speed results

my results are
download=1.09Mbps
upload=0.87Mbps
I dont know the reason why my speed seems to be slow many of them said that if Cable Internet services share bandwidth with satellite Internet access.
If there are many subscribers using that same bandwidth, it can slow down the connection.
kindly guide me how to solve this problem .
